Our Hiring Process

At Qualified Staffing, we strive to make applying as simple and stress-free as possible. Our staffing professionals will learn about your skills, goals and interests to help you find just the right opportunity. Here is how our registration process works:

  1. Application
You may apply online or in person at our office. A Qualified Staffing supervisor will review your application and inform you of any additional requirements at that time. Once all the requirements have been met and all the documentation has been received, if you meet our hiring criteria and demonstrate a strong work ethic, we will invite you in for an interview. However, if there is an immediate position for which you qualify, you may be interviewed at the time you submit your application.

Please bring the following information with you when coming into the office for processing:

    • Résumé.
    • References from your two most recent employers. Please provide contact information for these employers, so we may verify dates of employment and work performance.
    • Bring copies of any certifications or licenses.
    • In addition, be prepared to take a drug screen urinalysis test administered by our staff and have a criminal background check performed.
  2. Testing
Testing is required of all candidates. You will complete one or more assessments, depending upon your skill set and interests.
  3. Interview
When you come in for your appointment, a professional recruiter will conduct a one-on-one interview to assess your interests, experience, career goals and work preferences. During the interview a review of your work history and assignments or positions will be discussed as well as any current openings that may be right for you.
  4. Orientation
Once you are hired, you will receive an orientation outlining the requirements of Qualified Staffing as well as the company where you are assigned.
  5. Paperwork and Documents
Your file will be evaluated once more, ensuring all paperwork has been completed.
  6. Reference Checks / Criminal Background Check / Drug Screen Urinalysis
We will contact previous employers to verify dates of employment and work performance. We also conduct criminal background checks for disqualifying convictions and in some cases a motor vehicle report. Because Qualified Staffing is a drug-free workplace, we conduct pre- and re-employment drug screens right in our office, when applicable.
  7. Timesheets and Payroll
Timekeeping requirements vary by assignment, and will be explained by your Qualified Staffing supervisor. We offer multiple payroll options for your convenience. The most efficient and dependable option is direct deposit, but we also offer a check card, or direct mail to your home. Qualified Staffing reserves the right to change your check delivery day depending on holidays, reduced schedule, etc. Contact your supervisor for any additional questions you may have concerning time sheets and payroll.
